As I mentioned before you can have boats between Kadikoy and Karakoy every 30 minutes both ways. These boats are the fastest and most convenient way of traveling between European and Asian sides of Istanbul. You can find easily lots of connection buses, metro or shutle services to almost every destination.
It can also be a nice 20 minutes break from the rush of Istanbul. The view of Topkapi Palace and Haydarpasa Main Train Station is remarkable.
