I would like to give you some information on a restaurant located at Kemankes Cad. No 37 Karakoy Istanbul adress. This great restaurant has a very unique and elegant style. They are serving their clients over 10 years in this unique spot fruitfully. All the staff are kind, good looking and the managers are very nice and warm. While I was working in stock broking business we were having our lunch regularly there. The mediterrean and Turkish kitchen with an Italian touch. The menu is changing almost daily. The main dishes, salads and the side dishes that is a must for Turkish dining habits, they were all dlecious. In lunch time it is hard to find empty tables however I am sure the staff will assist you to arrange for a nice time. For dinners you mas reserve your table by phone especially for the weekends it is a must.
The tiles, radiators, floors, tables, chairs and the white clean sheets; you will definetely feel like you are having dinner in 1890's Istanbul with Levantens( Italian loacals of Istanbul)
The menu is not a pocket monster however not very suitable for back packers or budget travellers. If you visit Istanbul for business or enjoying a well budgeted dream holiday then it must be a real stop for you. By the way most of the firstcomers are becoming addicts. Their menu is really satisfying from starters, soups to main dishes. You can find some good wine or spirits to accompany your dinner. The prices are ranging between 2 Euros to 8 Euros for dishes at lunch time, for dinner it can go slightly higher. As I mentioned it will not burn your pocket but your heart for sure.
